Trinity Health steps up for the kids

            It’s a very happy place at Ohio Valley Mall.  Today, that place has a brand new name.  The mall’s soft play area for children is now the Trinity Health System Kidz Zone.  Trinity Health System, the Ohio Valley’s fastest-growing medical provider, is the proud sponsor of the popular amenity. 

“Trinity Health System is committed to supporting the Belmont County Community,” said Matt Grimshaw, President & CEO of Trinity Health System.  “Partnering with the mall to provide ongoing access to education and healthy living options including a new walking program, diabetes education events, laboratory clinics and much more is just one more way we are expanding into the Belmont County Region.  We appreciate the Cafaro family and their willingness to allow us to serve the community here at the Ohio Valley Mall.”

Trinity Health System recently opened primary care offices, physical therapy, laboratory and radiology services in St. Clairsville, Ohio as well as a full service Black Lung Clinic.  In addition, the health system has opened a primary care office in Bellaire, Ohio, also located in Belmont County.

Children attending the ceremony today were entertained by the health system’s  new mascot, Trinity Tiger. 

The Trinity Health System Kidz Zone is an enclosed area where young children (under 40 inches in height) are able to frolic on soft, colorful play elements, while parents and caregivers get to relax on integral seating.  The creative design of Kidz Zone portrays the local community, and vital services provided by Trinity Health System.  It is open during regular mall hours throughout the year.
