New Destinations for Clothing, Cards and Comics

The dynamic lineup of retailers at Ohio Valley Mall is growing again.  In the coming months, two new stores, Buckle, and New Dimension Comics, will open their doors.  Amy’s Hallmark, an existing store in the mall, will move to new location.

Pennsylvania comic book dealer New Dimension Comics has opened its first Ohio store at the mall, next to the Elder Beerman Men’s and Home store. At over 11,000 square feet, this is one of the largest locations in the chain.  It will host a Grand Opening Celebration Saturday, January 16. Attendees will enjoy hourly door prizes and day-long sales, such as 10 to 50 percent off select products.  Costumed superhero & Star Wars characters will be on hand for photos. Comic book writer and graphic novelist Vito Delsante will be on hand to sign free autographs. Vito has written for DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Image Comics, AdHouse Books and Simon & Schuster.  New Dimension Comics, the Pittsburgh region’s largest comic book specialty retailer, has delivered the world of comics to fans since 1986 and will celebrate 30 years in 2016.

In the spring, Amy’s Hallmark will move into a newly renovated 4,080 square foot store next to Boscov’s in order to make room for a new Buckle store. Buckle will occupy over 5,200 square feet across from Boscov’s. This new “denim destination” will open in July. Catering to style-conscious young men and women, Buckle will offer an ever-changing selection of apparel, accessories, and footwear.  Its sales associates are trained to be stylists and denim experts who make it easy to find your next favorite pair of jeans. Buckle markets denims, casual bottoms, fashion tops, active-wear, outer-wear, accessories, and footwear.  Brands include: Lucky Brand, Rock Revival, Miss Me, Big Star, American Fighter, Corral, Society, Hurley, Affliction, Billabong, Silver Jeans, Oakley, Fossil, and many more.  Buckle's own private label brands include BKE, Buckle Black, Gimmicks, BKE Boutique, Daytrip, and Reclaim.
