Dunham’s Debuts           

One of America’s premier destinations for sports lovers is about to debut at Ohio Valley Mall.  Dunham’s Sports opens today, October 31.  A Grand Opening Celebration will take place on Friday, November 1, 2019.  The all-new 45,000 square foot store is attached to the west concourse of the mall.  After a 9 am ribbon-cutting ceremony, the first 100 adults in line will receive Dunham’s Sports t-shirts. there will be free 6-packs of Coke or Diet Coke to anyone making a purchase of $10 or more, while supplies last. On Saturday, The first 100 adults will receive Dunham’s Sports baseball caps, and on Sunday, the first 100 adults get Dunham’s Sports gift cards, with one being worth $100.

Dunham’s was founded in 1937 in West Bloomfield, Michigan as a small shop called Dunham’s Bait & Tackle, it has now grown to 230 stores serve customers in 22 states, from Nebraska to Maryland.  Dunham’s offers a full line of traditional sporting goods and athletic equipment as well as a wide variety of active and casual sports apparel and footwear.

            The arrival of Dunham’s is just the latest chapter in an exciting year of renovation and changes at Ohio Valley Mall.  Over the past six months, workers have been busy installing new flooring, lighting systems, wall fixtures, landscaping and other improvements.   In April, a new 16,000 square foot Veterans Administration Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) opened inside the mall.  A new Chick-fil-A restaurant is now preparing to serve customers before the end of the year.  Just to the west of Dunham’s, an all-new Hampton Inn & Suites is now under construction and is scheduled to welcome its first guests by mid-2020.  The four-story hotel will offer 113 tasteful and spacious guest rooms and suites.
